Privacy Policy

Elysium Spa (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website at https://elysium-spa.ae and the spa at HC Floor, Atana Hotel, Barsha Heights, Dubai, UAE. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our site or book a treatment, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It is written to comply with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL) and applicable Dubai regulations.

What we collect

  • Booking information — name, phone, preferred time and treatment, given when you contact us via WhatsApp, Telegram, phone, or in person.
  • Communication content — messages exchanged on WhatsApp and Telegram, kept for as long as needed to fulfil and follow up on your booking.
  • Site analytics — page views, traffic sources, device class, and approximate country, collected via Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with IP anonymisation enabled. Used to measure which pages and channels work for our guests.
  • Marketing measurement — limited interaction data (such as which contact button you clicked) is shared with Meta Pixel and Google Tag Manager to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and improve relevance. No bookings, no names, no health information is sent to these tools.
  • Cookies — functional cookies (site preferences) plus measurement cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager). No tracking cookies from advertising networks beyond Meta. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site remains fully usable without them.

How we use it

  • To schedule, confirm, and remind you of your booking.
  • To respond to your enquiries and provide aftercare guidance.
  • To improve the website and our service quality based on aggregate, non-identifiable analytics.
  • To comply with legal, accounting, and health-and-safety obligations.

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share limited, non-identifying interaction data (page views, contact-button clicks) with Google Analytics and Meta Pixel for advertising measurement only — these tools never receive your name, phone number, treatment booked, or any health information.

Third-party services

  • WhatsApp & Telegram — when you contact us via these apps, the message and metadata are processed by Meta and Telegram respectively under their own privacy terms.
  • Google Maps — the embedded map on our Location section is provided by Google. Google may log your IP and viewport when the map loads.
  • Google Analytics 4 + Google Tag Manager — measurement tools used to count visits, traffic sources, and which pages perform best. IP addresses are anonymised. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
  • Meta Pixel — used to measure the effectiveness of any advertising we run on Facebook or Instagram. Tracks page views and contact-button clicks; never receives bookings or health information. Governed by Meta's privacy policy.
  • Instagram — outbound link only. Visiting Instagram is governed by Meta's terms.

Retention

Booking records are kept for up to 24 months for service quality, aftercare and accounting. Direct messages on WhatsApp/Telegram are deleted on request — write to us via the same channel to ask. Aggregate analytics is retained for 12 months and contains no identifiers.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Confirm what personal data we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate information;
  • Delete your booking history and messages;
  • Stop using your data for any specific purpose.

Security

Personal data is handled by trained staff only. Our website is served over HTTPS, and we keep booking systems behind strong authentication. No method of transmission is 100% secure — please avoid sending sensitive health information through public channels.

Children

Elysium Spa does not provide services to or knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The “Last updated” date above will always show the most recent revision.
