Location & getting here
Where is Elysium Spa located?
Elysium Spa is on the HC floor of Atana Hotel in Barsha Heights, Dubai — the neighbourhood is also commonly called Tecom. It is a four-minute walk from Internet City Metro station and minutes by car from Dubai Internet City, Media City, JLT, and Sheikh Zayed Road. A second branch operates at Millennium Atria Business Bay Hotel with an identical treatment menu. Exact map pin, directions, and both addresses are on the contact page.
Is Elysium Spa only for Atana Hotel guests?
No — Elysium Spa is a standalone day spa that is open to all visitors; hotel residency is not required. The spa operates independently inside the hotel building: pricing, booking, and treatment policies are set by Elysium, not by Atana Hotel. Simply take the lift to the HC (High Class) floor and reception will meet you. The same applies at the Business Bay branch inside Millennium Atria.
Where can I park at Elysium Spa?
At the main Barsha Heights branch, paid parking is available on-site at Atana Hotel. At the Business Bay branch (Millennium Atria Business Bay Hotel), complimentary valet parking is included with your treatment. If you prefer public transport, the main spa is a four-minute walk from Internet City Metro station on the Red Line.
Is Elysium Spa in Al Barsha or near Mall of the Emirates?
Elysium Spa is in Barsha Heights (Tecom), which is a separate district from Al Barsha 1 and the Mall of the Emirates area — the similar names cause frequent confusion. Barsha Heights sits between Sheikh Zayed Road and Dubai Internet City, about five minutes by car from Mall of the Emirates. Our guide to the Al Barsha vs Barsha Heights vs Tecom districts explains the difference in detail.
Booking, hours & prices
What are the opening hours of Elysium Spa?
Elysium Spa is open every day from 10:00 to 02:00 (UAE time), including Fridays, weekends, and public holidays. The late schedule means a 60-minute session can start as late as midnight — convenient after work for Tecom, Internet City, and Media City professionals. Mornings are the quietest time to visit; evenings after 19:00 are the busiest, so booking ahead is recommended for late slots.
How do I book a massage? Are walk-ins accepted?
The fastest way to book is WhatsApp at +971 58 507 2173 — reservations usually answer within minutes. You can also book by Telegram (+971 54 244 2254) or by phone at +971 58 507 2173. Walk-ins are welcome subject to therapist availability, but for 90-minute, couple, four-hands, and six-hands sessions advance booking is strongly recommended because they require specific therapists or the couples suite.
How much does a massage at Elysium Spa cost?
Prices range from 525 AED (60-minute Aroma Massage) to 2,100 AED (90-minute Six Hands Massage), and every price already includes 5% VAT with no service charges added at checkout. Most signature treatments fall between 580 and 1,470 AED: Swedish is 580/870 AED for 60/90 minutes, Deep Tissue and Hot Stone are 630/950 AED, and Couple Massage is 1,050/1,470 AED. The full menu with all eleven treatments is on the homepage.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation is free if you cancel more than 6 hours before your appointment. Cancellations within 6 hours of the start time, or a no-show, are charged up to 50% of the booked treatment price. To reschedule, message WhatsApp at +971 58 507 2173 — moving a booking to another time with more than 6 hours notice costs nothing.
What payment methods does Elysium Spa accept?
Elysium Spa accepts cash and all major cards: Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Prices are quoted in AED and include 5% VAT — the price on the menu is the final price you pay, with no service charge added. Payment is taken at the spa after your treatment.
Treatments
What types of massage does Elysium Spa offer?
Eleven treatments, all from the European and Russian tradition: Aroma, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Lomi-Lomi, Lava Shell, Bamboo, Ritual Signature, Couple, Four Hands, and Six Hands. Every treatment is available in 60- and 90-minute sessions. Thai, Balinese, and other Asian techniques are not on the menu — the spa deliberately specialises in one tradition.
Which massage should I choose for a first visit?
For a first spa visit or general stress relief, start with the 60-minute Aroma Massage (525 AED) — medium pressure with premium oils, and the therapist adapts pressure to your comfort. For sports recovery or post-workout tension, choose Deep Tissue or Bamboo (both 630 AED). For traveller jetlag, Hot Stone (630 AED) works well for circulation and deep relaxation. For a special occasion, the Ritual Signature (840 AED) or Four Hands (1,050 AED) are the signature choices.
Does Elysium Spa have couples massage?
Yes — Couple Massage costs 1,050 AED for 60 minutes or 1,470 AED for 90 minutes and covers both partners. Sessions take place in a private couples suite with two synchronised therapists working side by side, and each partner can choose a different technique. The couples suite is one room, so advance booking via WhatsApp is strongly recommended.
What is Lomi-Lomi massage at Elysium Spa?
Lomi-Lomi at Elysium Spa is a barefoot deep-pressure massage: the therapist works with their feet while holding overhead bars for balance and pressure control, delivering broader, deeper coverage than hands alone. It costs 630 AED for 60 minutes or 950 AED for 90 minutes and suits guests who want strong, full-body pressure — including athletes and guests who find regular deep tissue not deep enough.
Does Elysium Spa offer Russian massage?
Yes — Elysium Spa is a Russian massage spa in the sense the term is used in Dubai: therapists trained in Russia and Eastern Europe, reception working in Russian, and a menu built on the classical school Russian spas are known for — Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, and Aroma. "Russian massage" in Dubai describes this European classical technique performed by Russian-speaking therapists rather than a separate method, so there is no single menu item called Russian massage — the whole menu is that tradition.
What is a European massage spa?
A European massage spa specialises in the classical European school of massage — Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, and hot stone — delivered by certified therapists, as opposed to Asian traditions such as Thai or Balinese. Elysium Spa is a European massage spa in Barsha Heights: all eleven treatments on the menu come from the European tradition, therapists trained in the classical European school, and Asian techniques are deliberately not offered.
Does Elysium Spa offer prenatal massage?
No — Elysium Spa does not offer prenatal-specific protocols and does not market specialised pregnancy care. Pregnant guests should consult their physician before booking any treatment. If your doctor approves, you can request a light-pressure Aroma session and the therapist will adapt within standard technique, but this remains a general wellness treatment, not a prenatal protocol.
Therapists & the spa
Who are the therapists at Elysium Spa?
The team is made up of certified therapists from Russia, Moldova, Germany, North Ossetia, and Hong Kong. Each therapist is classically trained in European technique, holds the certifications required to practise in Dubai, and has passed the mandatory health screening. Therapists specialise in one or two techniques rather than rotating the full menu, so you can request a specialist for your chosen treatment when booking.
What languages do the staff speak?
English and Russian are spoken fluently by every therapist and by reservations. Arabic is available at reception. Many therapists also speak their native languages, including Romanian and German — mention your language preference when booking and reception will assign a therapist accordingly.
Is Elysium Spa a Russian spa?
Elysium Spa positions itself as a Russian and European tradition spa: the therapists trained in Russia and Europe, and the menu is exclusively classical European technique. It serves Russian-speaking and international guests to the same standard — reception and all therapists work in both English and Russian. Rated 4.6 out of 5 from 163 Google reviews.
Is Elysium Spa suitable for men?
Yes — Elysium Spa serves both men and women, and a large share of regular guests are men from the surrounding Tecom, Internet City, and Media City business district. Deep Tissue, Bamboo, and Lomi-Lomi barefoot are the most popular choices for sports recovery and desk-work tension. The spa for men page covers recommended treatments in detail.
Is Elysium Spa a luxury spa?
Yes — Elysium Spa is a luxury massage spa in the day-spa format: private single-occupancy treatment cabins, a dedicated couples suite, premium professional-grade oils, and certified European therapists. Pricing runs roughly 30–40% below five-star hotel spas in Dubai for equivalent treatment length and therapist standard — from 525 AED for a 60-minute session up to 2,100 AED for the Six Hands experience, with 5% VAT included. Rated 4.6 out of 5 from 163 Google reviews.
Is Elysium Spa a medical massage clinic?
No — Elysium Spa is a wellness and relaxation day spa, not a medical clinic. Treatments are not medical care, and the spa does not provide therapeutic certification for insurance purposes. If you need medical massage prescribed by a doctor, a licensed physiotherapy clinic is the right choice; for stress relief, muscle tension, and recovery, Elysium's certified therapists adapt classical European technique to your needs.
